I first realized my interest in working with others while in college. I took an elective class in therapeutic recreation and was so fulfilled that I immediately transferred out of the business department. Upon graduation I was employed by Mesa Vista Hospital. I spent eight challenging and rewarding years working throughout different programs in the hospital. An opportunity arose for me to change careers, and feeling ready for a change, I jumped on it. I’ve been blessed to have a successful business in the floral industry for the past decade and a half. Through volunteering with Sports for Exceptional Athletes, I recognized how much I missed working in a field that provides support to others. I became aware of the position for coordinator at Networx, and felt it would be the perfect fit for me. I’m very excited to be a part of the Networx team, and look forward to growing with the organization!
