I was honored to join the Networx team in February of 2020. Prior to Networx, I’ve dedicated more than 13 years to advocating for adults with developmental disabilities. I have experience working with various local non-profit agencies where I supported adults with developmental disabilities to learn the skills needed to thrive independently. My interest in this field came as I was a child when I was fascinated with the grace my aunt provided as a caregiver. I knew my then desire to care for others would eventually transition to a career that would provide me much gratitude. My early journey began working as a direct support staff in a group home, where I quickly was promoted to a house manager then transitioning to an integrated employment program. My experience as a manager led me to a corporate position; this was a rewarding experience but lacked the direct contact with clients that I yearned for. With little to no hesitation, I re-entered the field which would allow me to offer one-on-one interaction with the people I support. I appreciate the challenges each day can bring by providing direct support. I find enjoyment in witnessing clients growing to their full potential and having the opportunity to be a part of those experiences. I am thrilled to be able to continue my journey with Networx. Networx represents creativity, teamwork, and compassion, all of which I admire. I value the passion for life, ambition, and high-quality support offered by Networx and I am proud to now be a part of this family.
